A benefit of using a Registered Building Practitioner is that all works over $10,000 will have Domestic Building Insurance (formerly known as Home Owners Warranty Insurance). This insurance covers you against structural defects for 6 years from the date a certificate of occupancy or certificate of compliance is issued. So, you are guaranteed that your home is completed and built to the current strict building standards.

Further there is a 90 day maintenance period whereby we come and fix any minor issues with the home once you move in.
